Absolutely abominable from beginning to end. A few good actors (Harrold, Albert, Hong) wasted. A bad love song sung badly by Pavarotti. Cardboard operetta Italians dancing the tarantella as though there wasn't a care in the world, when they're trapped in this ill-begotten nightmare. Overall, a monstrosity not even worthy of a 10-cent Harlequin romance. The very thought of that giant ape getting naked and climbing on top of petite Kathryn Harrold makes me squirm. Oh, the humanity!

Funny how women all over the world threw themselves on that giant ape. He was a star in a tough business where even stars are often panned. Men always wonder what women see in those guys like artists artists and musicians. Well, it's sour grapes.
