She was supposed to be naked, but the network wouldn't allow it.
Modern day shows would get away with the nudity, but they wouldn't get the story right. V:TFB had its share of problems, but what works more than makes up for the story-based nitpicks.

I fvcken love the scene where Julie makes her last stand against Diana's fighter shuttle in the first mini-series. I am listening to the soundtrack right now. I bought it on Amazon for a good price. I am repeating track 13 at 1:16 where she bravely stands alone with a handgun pointed at the alien craft ready to die.
