From the very start, we see Cujo just innocently playing catch the rabbit, and can see him before he got sick. He was more like Beethoven at that point.
So, with that said, even when he was on his murderous rampage, I could still see that innocent animal we saw in the beginning of the movie. So when it came time for his end, I couldn't help but feel like he was a victim as well. Did anyone else feel this way?

I couldn't watch it either. Rabies is a terrible thing and Cujo was an innocent victim of it. He wasn't responsible for the things he did.
