There have been hits and misses with King adaptations.
Stand By Me, Shawshank, Christine and Carrie stand out as classics among his best.
Cujo is among the worst.
How bad?
Even worse than Maximum Overdrive.
I watched it once out of curiosity and nothing better was on.
ET's mom mostly just sitting there in a car afraid of a rabid killer dog waiting to be rescued.
That is all I remember.
