Does anybody else besides me feel sorry for Cujo? He was a good dog It's not his fault he contracted a horrible disease that made him a lunatic. It was the fault of his idiot, irresponsible owners who didn't get him the Rabies vaccine. This is a well made horror movie, with taut suspense and tension But I find it to be very unpleasant and sad.

I did too. He was such a loving, fat, and cuddly fuzz ball at the beginning. He was seriously neglected. I mean no one saw the bites on his nose?????

It was just on tonight. I agree, I think it's very sad that through no fault of his own, he got infected and became vicious and crazy.
I don't like watching animals pretending to get hurt or killed on film. It's probably in the same tier as with children, they're innocent and it's just too sad to see.
Although, I was reading the wiki for the book tonight and I found the fact that in the book
Tad dies. had they left that in the movie.
I think it would have
really
bummed me out.
I think my mom told me that watching that movie was hard for her, she really identified with Donna as a mother, and going through something like that would be bad enough by yourself, but having your child suffer with you? That's really rough.
