Sissy is my favortie actress, and I've been meaning to see this. I know she plays the voice of the brain. But, does anyone know why she is uncredited? Does she have a big part? I want to buy it, also because Steve Martin is a genius. This looks hilarious.
Thanks.

From what i remember spacek is the dis-embodied voice of the brain of martin"s girl friend in a jar watching it again tonight so will amend this if she is actually in the film. Her voice is not very distinctive (at least not to me) so it may be why they chose her too.

Thank you. i've only seen the scene where she is introduced singing "Under the bamboo tree." It's a funny scene.
Thanks again. I will buy it!

She does play a large part, but not as large as Steve Martin or his character's wife. The film takes some time to get to Sissy but it is worth it. The last half of the movie basically revolves around her.
The only reason I think she is uncredited is because Maybe they wanted the voice to be a mystery, or something like that Those filmmakers, what's going on there
I recommend you buy it, it is extremely funny and re-watchable.
