There was talk years ago of a musical version going to Broadway starring Debbie Gibson as Yentl. Thank goodness it did not happen. There was supposed to be a revival of "Funny Girl" starring the redhaired daughter from "Six Feet Under" which was also cancelled. Again, thank goodness. Where do people get these ideas? I would rather watch the films.<br />
