Hi!
I was just wondering St. John got missing 1969. Later in the show it is stated, that String was imprisoned just before the airlift of Saigon. But that was 1975 String spent two tours in Vietnam that can't be 6 years long can it? And he spent time there with his brother so it must have been even longer
Is it possible to have spent time in Vietnam war, return home for a long holiday and then return?
I am just curious.

Not necessarily a long holiday.
He may have been injured and had to rehabilitate before returning to active service.
