*Spoiler ahead…
When Tubbs is on Crockett's sailboat, "Sonny" has Tubbs go down into the cabin to get some ice, which he starts to do, but then suddenly encounters this HUGE alligator, which apparently is Sonny's pet (named
Elvis
). The scene was funny and all, but pretty ridiculous. I mean, come on…
Anyway, I've only started watching the series, and was wondering if that alligator appears later in the series, or was that just a throwaway gag scene for that one episode.

Thanks, Anna.
I was around when the show came out, but TBH I just never watched it. Not even one episode, lol. I have, however, seen snippets of it over the years, and figured someday I'd get around to watching it. Well, that day is now, and I'm just starting in on it. So, hello 1980's all over again.
