nickname? wow really. i never knew this. thanks for this info. some people go by their middle names for some reason maybe bc they don't like their first name. but nickname that is odd bc i always thought his real middle name is amadeus???

Because that is the title of the play it is adapted from. The play is titled Amadeus because it wasn't his middle name but his nickname, a fact I knew off the top of my head and didn't look up just a few moments ago.
