She's pretty enough, but I was comparing the delivery of her lines to everyone else's - and there's a flat quality that means she memorized it, but can't express it sensitively. I.e., she cannot act.
I'm sure that someone who found her very physically attractive would disagree. But there are already too many folks in movies who are attractive but can't act. We don't need any more.

yes now they have it on the reel channel, no HD, does not compare. two things I loved about this movie, Micheal Caine's reactions when he's so worried he will get caught, and michele's gazonga's.

This movie is occasionally played on MGM HD. They played it recently and all I can say is Michelle Johnson was meant to be seen in HD

I agree. I watched "Blame it on Rio" on tv last night (Saturday night late night movie) and I was initially interested in the film at the beginning because I'm a Michael Caine fan (a consistently good actor). I had no idea what the film was about and where it was heading. Then Michelle Johnson was introduced and WOW, what an instant knockout! Each scene with her had me FLOORED. Damn, how I wish I was around in 1984 (FYI I was born in 1985 LOL). She is so beautiful, stunning, gorgeous and hot! What a body, what a person! She's all those positive adjectives and many more lol.
I had a cursory look at her profile on wikipedia and imdb and it's a real shame that she hasn't had any big roles or anything substantial throughout her career. In recent years (other than 2004's "Mickey") she has done nothing. It would be really good if we can see her again in something, especially well known. Come on, Hollywood, give her another shot!
