I read the book and I didn't like it all that much.
Is the movie anything like it? I know movies are usually different than the books they're based on.
Better or worse? Thoughts?

It's worth watching the movie if only for Vanessa Redgrave's performance as Olive. She is utterly amazing and brings the whole film to life. The book's ending was changed for the movie to one that is probably considered more politically correct for nowadays.
