The climax was the best part of it. I've known about this movie as a child, and I've waited until now that I'm almost 25 to finally watch it. Smh..

It was great at the time it came out, I can see how someone watching it for their first time today might not like it too much. When I watch it now I think of just how much more it could've been.

I disagree with you. I think it's a great, extremely underrated movie. John Franklin's performance as Isaac is incredible. I really enjoy the "middle of nowhere," country atmosphere the town has as well. The quiet solitude is very creepy and adds to the film very much. It's one of my all time favorites.
