For men: Never date a woman with kids. Especially older kids. It's just too much work. Those women should stay single. lol!
For Women: Stop being stupid and gullible.

Doesn't matter. It's still
stupidity
. You want to be nice and P.C. about it, but it's 100% stupidity, even If I do it.

Heaven forbid you should find yourself in a similar situation. It happens everyday to good people. You shouldn't be so critical and stoop to calling them "stupid". ?
Also, why are you being so hard on Wendy!? You should really try and be more empathetic to her character. She was alone, hurt and reaching out for someone who could understand and love her. She did pick the wrong person (Sam) to try and build a life with and I don't honestly believe she set out to hurt anyone or have her children suffer. But it happened. She realized in the end what Sam was and she kicked him out.

Vulnerable
is just another way of saying
stupid
. It lowers your defenses and leads you into making dumb decisions.

Wendy was very lonely and vulnerable. She had just had her whole world broken (again) first with her divorce from Allen and then her hopes of getting back together with him here crushed with him marrying JoAnn. Sam came along and gave her all the things she wanted. He was full of life, fun to be around and he showed her love and attention. She needed that. You can't blame Wendy for how things went down. Sam was a nice guy deep down. But he just didn't have his beep together by any means. That was his downfall.

Shouldn't SHE stay away? Or is she too stupid to do so. That's why she had all those problems. Still thinking she is a teenager on the dating scene. LMAO!

As for educated, middle class single women with a mortgage and teens, you single men that don't have your beep together, stay away! The kids will know right away you're all talk!
