It's interesting to see what changed. I knew some of these things and read some of the original scripts but didn't knwo there was originally going to be more nudity. Tina has her gown ripped off in both the first dream sequence and during her death.
I don't know if the actress didn't want to go nude, especially during a gory scene or if Wes just thought it was unnecessary.
Some of the things I already knew were things like the sweater originally was supposed to be red and yellow, and he had a trenchvoat in some versions. If they ever remake it again, they should pay homage to some of the original ideas.
The red and yellow was probably an homage to Plastic Man.

NC-17 equivalent. I think it was considered X.
Yeah, it could still be that.

Well I'll be damned, so she did. You're right, it was after ANOES, something called "Deadly Innocents" released in 1989. I'd still be she didn't want to to it that early in her career though, since NC-17 wasn't a thing in 1984. Didn't come around until 1990.

She has done nudity, but it may have been a later film. I wonder if it was just that maybe Wes didn't want to do another NC-17 film.
I wonder how far ahead storyboards are made.

My guess is that Amanda Wyss didn't want to do nudity.
