Either by shooting themselves or by the much better trained and combat experienced invading force.
At least it gave us this funny moment which is just too silly to be taken seriously!

I love that this film is total ridiculous tosh from start to finish. It's a true 1980's evil Commie camp classic.

This is part of its problem, because the film takes itself very seriously. This undermines its bullshit scenario of the kids taking on a town of Russians. While the film doesn't spare them all, (which I liked), it needed to be more tongue in cheek. More like a
