After the deer incident. He snapped and started using alien powers to kill. For example shooting enemies with lazer eyes or suck brains out through the skull with tenacles. Would it be a better film? Just the second act having Starman killing left and right?

OP: It would be reduced to a hackneyed movie plot, one that we had seen a million times before. Therefore, never ever as memorable as this. It would have a loser.
