I love this film but have always been bothered by the Las Vegas scene. I get how he could influence the gambling machines so they'd win the jackpot.
I don't get, though, how they were able to claim the jackpot winnings ($500,000, which is over $1 million by 2016 standards) AND buy a car in cash without any identification? Remember, her ID and credit card were in the car that was destroyed.
I've never won a jackpot in Vegas, but I'm pretty sure you can't just leave the casino after winning one million dollars. I believe you have to check out with the casino financial office and pay the IRS part of the winnings up front (after showing ID).
