I have always adored the styling of this film, but I think for a remake, there would be a lot more choreography.</p>

<p dir="auto">A contemporary remake simply wouldn't work because a new<br />
Streets of Fire<br />
would be representative of contemporary tastes and styles and what makes the original Streets stand out is that it represents the zeitgeist of the 1980s in which 1980s styles is infused with a 50ish flavor and that's what makes THAT movie stand out and can NOT be replicated.</p>

Part of what makes this film work is its 80s style and music. A modern remake wouldn't work.</p>
