I thought it was a lost cause and that he was never going to get upset about Sam just dumping him on Jack when she came back for Peggy's funeral IN JULY. So far from Ricky = no crying for mommy, no being fearful of this virtual stranger he's now living with (whom he must call Daddy), plus others he doesn't know: Ronnie and the other 2 kids, no questions about what Sam is doing or where she is, no asking when mommy is going to come get him again, no asking why his whole life has changed and he is now living in another town (most likely not near his mother) and will be uprooted again when they move and he has to change schools.
And all he DID get was "are you going to leave me [when they get married] like my mommy did?"
Pathetic.
