There's an episode where a guy uses mirrors to watch people. This guy/thing was able to look at people by using house hold mirrors as a sort of one way window.
It doesn't seem to be a Twilight Zone episode. Does anyone have an idea what series is it from? It is some other Twilight Zone type of series. Presumably in black and white. It could be colour too

Yup, it definitely sounds like Camera Obscura from Night Gallery (Season 2 - Episode 36).

I might be wrong, but this sounds a little like a Night Gallery episode called "Camera Obscura"

I think the one you mean is an episode of Amazing Stories called "Mirror, Mirror".
It rang a bell and I managed to find the IMDB entry
http://www.imdb.com/board/10511104/plotsummary
Is that the one you mean?
