I just rewatched it AGAINalways giving it a benefit of the doubt viewand it starts out interestingly enough and the climax is also FANTASTICbut the dialogue/talky parts.Uninteresting and boring at times, I phase out EVERY time! And before I get accused of having A.D.D. I'm a moviephile and horror fan for 3 decades and love the classics. The whole shouting and yelling at each other just LOSES me every time.
I may watch with subtitles and commentary..see if my opinion changes at all. But that would be the last straw.
I'd rather watch
Land of the Dead
(which I have on Blu Ray btw and has an AWESOME soundtrack)LOVE that movie!
Flaming welcome.

I don't think that's unfair criticism at all, especially considering the two films it follows. While I personally enjoy this film, there's a reason I rarely return to it. I do think it's a wonder it turned out as good as it is considering all the hurdles Romero faced in getting it made.
I do have to say I'd take this over Land any day of the week.
