This is one of Woody's lovliest filmsit takes me through a myriad of emotions, and even though the ending is heartbreaking, it makes sense and it works.

I haven't seen many Woody Allen films, but I have to agree that this is a wonderful film That's very overlooked.
I thought the ending was a bit too "unhappy," but overall, it's a "hidden gem."
