It hasn't aged well just like Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, etc. The only one I thought at the time had talent was James Spader, and I wasn't surprised later. Rob Lowe wasn't bad, and he actually got better in time, delivering great performances in obscure films such as Square Dance (his best), Masquerade (you'll like that one if you haven't seen it yet), and Bad Influence.
