Although I think it was mostly out of impulse, Nina wanted to keep the Black Moon.
Clearly, she couldn't just drive the car around or easily chop it up for resale, so maybe she was just going to keep it inside of her apartment ?
Also, if Nina hadn't stolen the car, Daryl wouldn't have died.
