You know, the VERY rare 2 hours version with a lot more violence and gore. Apparently, it's way better than the official cut. I also tried very hard to find it on the Internet and asked people on MovieChat. One user almost gave me some hope as he told me he had on an old VHS somewhere and got it from a former boss who used to work at Warner studios at the time.
I really like this movie. I find it thrilling, dynamic, well filmed and edited. However, many people dislike it and according to the few who have seen the workprint, all the excessive cuts very hurt the film. So, I wish I could see the version which gives the movie a more fair treatment.
I don't care if the quality is awful, I'm ready to pay if someone can tell me where to find it. We can't count on either Stallone or Warner to ever release it on DVD/Blu-Ray.
So thank you for your collaboration.
