<p dir="auto">I love Highlander as it's an 80's classic, but there is absolutely no forgiving the effects guys or the director for that matter about the wires we can all blatantly see towards the end when Conner has defeated the Kurgan and is flying around surrounded by spirits etc. I wish they'd go back and restore some of the effects work to cover them up.</p>

<p dir="auto">The effects could've been done better on the day, agreed, but the director and producers of this film clearly prefers having the "warts and all" approach, i.e. they prefer having the movie look like it did in 1986 with mistakes etc., rather than the "George Lucas" approach.<br />
If they wanted to release a "final cut", like Blade Runner, they would've done so by now.<br />
