For some reason, this was the only movie of my youth that terrified me to the point where I couldn't watch the ending, I was too scaredI don't know why this movie scared me so much. I had no problem watching "Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Pet Semetary"my dad would put on a blank face and come in my room and go "I'm not like the others" and I'd freak outone time, he went as far to put a band aid on the back of his neck to really freak me out, haha. Anyways, I have never seen the end of it because we had it on Betamax and that tape doesn't work anymore but someday I hope to finally make it to the conclusion

Oh okay, yes I remember that part. I guess I was just a bit odd because another part I laughed at was when Gage walked away saying "No fair." That little beep Lol

That wasn't the part that scared me, it was when she was still alive and they left Rachel alone with her. I think it was just the way she looked, and the thought of being a little kid left alone with that creepy looking thing.

I saw the movie when I was around that age and I just found the whole movie to be hilarious, but different stokes for different folks. I thought Zelda running up to the camera saying "Never Never Never Never" the funniest moment from a horror movie.

Well like I said, it was mainly just the sister with meningitis that scared me, and I was like 9.

Lord have mercy. "Pet Sematary" was FAR from scary. It was more funny than anything else. I like Stephen King's movies but none of them was close to scary in my opinion. "Nightmare on Elm Street" was startling. But "Halloween" 1&2 scared me as a kid. I loved it! "Invaders From Mars" is crept. The monsters that eventually ate Louise Shaffer were ugly as beep and CREEPY!!!!

I had no problem watching "Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Pet Semetary"
Pet Sematary is the only movie that ever really scared the hell out of me as a kid. Nightmare On Elm Street never really bothered me either, but after watching Pet Sematary my friend and I had to sleep in the same bed with the lights on too afraid to close our eyes. Really, the only part that bothered me was the sister with spinal meningitis, she really creeped me out.

It was one of the 80s flicks to scare the s*** out of me too. I especially remember being a kid and being horrified by the scene with Louise Fletcher eating the frog. It's stuck with me for over 20 years.
