<p dir="auto">Michael plays a Detective in the early scenes where Pryor starts to work in a mafia owned comedy club. He saves him when Richard tries to force the owners to pay his salary with a starter gun. He is actually a lover of Satin Doll, a stripper at the place who helps him get work there.</p>

<p dir="auto">Sorry, ancient thread.  But, the belated answer is that they are both basically cameos. But they're great characters, though.<br />
Ironside is a tough detective that bails Pryor out of a jam just in time. Hauser is a sleazy Beverly Hills rich party guy that bangs Pryor's wife at a party (and Pryor kicks his ass).</p>
