I've been a long time Labyrinth/Bowie fan and have been looking forward for a sequel only if David Bowie and Jennifer agreed to come back. Now that he has passed it seems like it's too late. I'm not too thrilled with talks of a sequel have Bowie/so soon after his death. However, if a sequel had to be made, I think the only actor who could do Jareth is Gary, since he was pretty good friends with David for a long time so he probably could emulate him pretty well. They're both British and I think they look pretty similar once Gary takes off his glass and his face is clean shaven but for those who disagree with me on that, he is the man of many faces, so with just enough makeup I believe he could really look just like Bowie did and Oldman's acting is unquestionably one of the finest.
I do not think a new Sarah is needed. I think Jennifer could still play her in the sequel and do not know why some people are suggesting new younger actresses for her role. I think that ridiculous.
I know this is probably just wishful thinking and I shudder to think who Hollywood is actually going to cast, but in a perfect world, this would probably be my casting.

Gary Oldman could probably pull it off, even tho I've always thought no one could ever be as good as DB in this role. But I do love Gary Oldman.

Gary Oldman is great, how about Meghan Merkle as a little older Sarah, or Sarah Wayne Callies as an adult Sarah with a daughter, Meghan Merkle, of her own.

Yes! I'd LOVE Gary as an older, sort of fading-away Jareth.

Maybe Sarah could be the mother of the new girl in the film, who also wishes to be rid of her baby brother.
