<p dir="auto">He wanted to return to theater, so they let him go. Funny thing: Garrison had worked with these same producers on It's Your Move on NBC and they wrote the Steve character for him. Maybe that's why they were willing to let him go-because they respected him.<br />
He currently is touring in Wicked.</p>

<p dir="auto">Right he came back in guest appearances a few times to be nice. Garrison had worked with Ron and Michael on their show It's Your Move before MWC and they wrote the Steve Rhoades character for him, so they had gotten along and when he wanted to leave, they understood.</p>

<p dir="auto">Actually David Garrison did appear 4 other times after leaving the show during the 4th season in 1990, and he went to theatre. He was brought out from his contact and he left the show on good terms from the producers. He did appear in TV shows as a guest star after Marrield With Children and following his departure he was on a short lived show called "Work It Out." However he had a successful career on and off Broadway.<br />
