<p dir="auto">“Modern Family” ran for 11 seasons (250 episodes).  “Married With Children” ran for 11 seasons (260 episodes).  Also, unlike “Modern Family” and several TV shows, “Married With Children” didn’t premiere in the Fall.  Therefore, the first two seasons both premiered during the same year.  So, “MWC” was on for 10 years, even though it ran for 11 seasons, while “Modern Family” ran for 11 years.  How does that work in terms of longevity?</p>

Richard Dean Anderson was MacGyver  for 7 seasons, and Colonel Jack O'Neill  for 8 seasons of Stargate SG-1.  He left that to spend more time with his daughter.<br />
I wonder how many more TV stars went from one great show to another?</p>
