<p dir="auto">if you dident understood that picard chosed to sacrfice this woman on purpose because shes a nobody and he just used her as a scapegoat, then you are not really understaning picard character.<br />
i say this because some people think picard is some good charming fellow and the bringer of justice. when in reality hes a cold,calculated commander. TNG certinly try to look "optimistic" for the shallow minded. however its not, far from it.<br />
remember the second episode with moriarty? they all thought it was a good idea to lock him in a cube matrix for eternity. they could easly figure out a way so moriarty can live in reality if picard asked the federation. but he dident. why should he? he looked at him like a toy.</p>
