The White race ALONE has all hair colors and textures, so any style is not unusual. Other races dying their hair blonde or straightening it is more cultural appropriation that Whites wearing dreads.

It's not necessarily a black hairstyle, but even if it was, I think it depends on the area. A lot of the hippie or crusty types have em in my area. They don't get bothered.
