<p dir="auto">I remember way back in the day when this won best movie at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. I think after this(or maybe somewhere down the line), they made a rule that no R-rated film could be nominated, because their target audience wouldn't be able to see it alone in theaters.<br />
When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.</p>

<p dir="auto">They were actually promoting R-rated films well into the early 90's.  I can recall them using footage from Total Recall for when Arnold Schwarzenegger got an award. They also had Robert Englund dress up as Freddy Krueger for an interview. Different times though. To put it into perspective, both Rambo and Robocop were given animated cartoon shows and toylines.<br />
