<p dir="auto">You know the scene in rules of attraction that talks about the eurotrip with all the drugs sex and hedonism with no pauses. That's what the book is like.<br />
I love the movie. It's an 80s kid thing. It is nothing at all like the book though.<br />
The only character from the book that works similarly in the film is Rip.</p>

<p dir="auto">I really like the movie and the book. They can somehow be oddly comforting when you start to think your own life is <em>beep</em> ed up.<br />
The movie is very 80s-centric, for sure.</p>
