<p dir="auto">So, what ever happened to Mauser?  I know the actor who played him got seriously injured, but why was it not explained in the movie where the character went?  I do like Harris though, he's great as well.  In fact I think I like Harris better.</p>

<p dir="auto">I don't know so much about ethics because both him and Mauser would step on anybody's toes to get what they wanted,but I will grant you that Harris was the more dedicated Lieutenant in terms of being your typical career police officer.I just found Art Metrano far more entertaining as Mauser than G.W.Bailey as Harris.</p>

<p dir="auto">Mauser and Harris were different. Harris cared about making good Cops in the first movie. He had a code and ethics. He thought all these misfit trainees were an insult to the Academy. Mauser never showed that kind of loyalty to the honor of being a Police Officer.</p>

<p dir="auto">My speculation is that after PA3 when his Academy lost, Mauser retired and went his own seperate way.</p>
