<p dir="auto">People generally didn't like the 80s and during the 90s/00's it was looked upon almost as a comical decade in terms of fashion "the decade that fashion forgot", the yuppie culture etc I'd never really heard anyone say a good thing about it until the last 5 years. I find it strange and funny how attitudes can change drastically to something as time moves us on. Maybe as we gain more distance, the rosier our glasses become?</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes, the 80s were terrific, what with the crack cocaine epidemic, AIDs crisis, resurgence of racism,outsourcing, Japanese takeover of the US, Cold War where we were this close to armageddon, homelessness, and soaring crime rates that saw 20,000 people killed annually.<br />
