OKI'm still watching this, but had to post this cause I laughing. At about 43 minutes into the movie, the kid(Ricky) and his step-parents go see the nuns cause the kid freaked out a bit seeing some red cloth in the window that reminded him of Santa(his brother) getting shot. Anyhow, he is at tops 9 or 10 years old here. The very next scene, Ricky narrating says "five years later my step-father died" and they show him at the funeral. Well, this older Ricky looks 27 years old now lol and he's suppose to be like 14. Totally bust me up. I swear I see some gray hair on his side burns. And to go on with the theme of this board.I have to say, the beep flashbacks on this movie were unbearable for anyone who had seen the original. What beep and lazy film making. I love B movies and 80's horror and support it whole-heartedly. The original was cool, but I can't back up this level of laziness. I believe the director only made one other movie and rightly so. He should be shunned forever more.
Edit: Just looked, the guy playing him really was 25 at the time. What a mess. How hard is it to find a 14 yr old kid to stand at a funeral and not say a word.

I burst out laughing when Ricky impales that guy in the alleyway on an umbrella. The best moment occurs when said umbrella opens up after it starts to rain!
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

The theater scene is undoubtedly the highlight of the movie. The douchebag singing along to the movie's theme music surpasses even Garbage Day (as well as Ricky's reaction to the movie and "No, I'm beginning to like this picture!").
I am the Raisuli. Do not laugh at me again!

aside from garbage day..classic a scene that cracked me up was in the theater with chip and jenifer. they were talking about having sex in the back of chip's car.
jenifer came out with this "you stood me up, you cheated on me you ruined my favorite sweater"
you ruined my favorite sweater.. that killed me.

I gotta agree with the poster who said nothing will ever, EVER top Garbage Day.
But after that, it's gotta be the movie theatre scene. The Santa killer movie, the annoying douchebags, and Chip (one of the absolutely greatest characters to ever grace the screen). The cherry on the sundae is when he gets rid of the kids and goes back to his seat. "I'm beginning to enjoy this picture." This, of course, said with both mouth and eyebrows in motion.
That or the rampage (she f*#!ing gulped and said UH-OH!; Ricky's evil laugh dear heavens).
It's hard to choose.
God I love this movie.

My personal favorite line is the "**** of, Doc!". It's been a long time since I saw it but IIRC it was the first line of Ricky, and the way he said it just cracks me up every time I think about it. I can't believe he managed to mess up his first line of the whole movie (though he actually quite messed them all up).

This movie is great, i seen it when it first came out 20 years ago and i watch it around x-mas every year since i bought it a couple of years ago. Eric Freeman is great in this, why he hasn't done more is beyond me, i mean they keep giving idiots like Will Smith movies and he has zero talent!! My favorite part of this movie is where he he hooks up the battery charger to Chip's mouth and turns it up. I mean that is great stuff and while everyone likes Garbage Day which i do too the guy before that scene who walks out of his house and asks "Hey what is all that noise out here?" and than gets blown away is pretty damn funny too!

Aside from Garbage Day (Cause nothing tops that.)
My pick would be with his infamous showdown, Freeman pulls out all the stops to deliver the worst performance ever put on film. Where do I start? Well for one when he's on the phone and he says "Santa's Back" Later on during the showdown (A complete rip off of Shining may I add.) he says "Good, I love a chase!" and he then tops it off with "Naughty This!" Of course one usually would be taken aback by the sheer balls it takes to feature an ending where a buff Jean-Claude Van Damme look-a-like (Minus the talent.) decapitates an elderly nun (Oh and I didn't spoil, check the back of your cover) but because it's so ineptly done it's all for s h i ts and giggles. Although the smugness of having the nun from hell live on 666 is an intentionally humorous touch.
Another laughable thing is if you see the trailer, we don't even see the brother, indeed it's 96% footage of the original and that's hilarious. Robert Brian Wilson actually didn't do too shabby of a job as the killer in part 1. Eric Freeman though (shakes head.) wouldn't pass muster in the adult industry. Here's the link by the way.

you've gotta give some credit to the sledding scene. first two of the lamest bullies arrive with amazingly ridiculous attitudes "we're uhh..going sledding" then it goes into this magical fun scene with sledding through the forsest and jolly music and then all the sudden DECAPITATION. amazing.

I have to give credit where it's due also, that battery scene was freaking cool. In fact, the entire scene where he's walking down the street there doing some evil deeds was pretty good. The last half of the movie after the flashbacks was decent, but the flashbacks ruined the entire movie along with the main character's raising his eyebrow hundreds of times. That was one of the most annoying things I've seen in a movie.
