I checked out the first couple of minutes.
If you watch note how they do the 20th Century logo before the credits.

Wow! I can't believe I haven't seen this movie before. What a fantastic cast. I would totally still watch it, simply because of Mel Brooks.

Like it as well. So funny. Love his spoofs. The only one of his I didn’t like was silent movie.

I think one of the main reasons I liked this was not because it was a "sci-fi" type of movie, but because it came from the mind of Mel Brooks, and he was a total genius! I don't think I've ever seen a Mel Brooks movie that I didn't thoroughly enjoy!
