I think Keanu got to play an even cooler version of superman as Neo in The Matrix. He totally nailed it.

Jung synchronicity has nothing to do with prophecy - but how life is full of strange and weird coincidences. Which accumulate as we grow older and then it becomes a question related to the meaning of life.

It's a bit of a stretch. For the most part, it just doesn't line up enough to be prophetic or Jungian. After all, Clark wasn't even really hurt in that scene. It was just a fake out.
