Bud tells him you can make more money than you ever dreamed of and no one gets hurt. So, that means his friend should have cleared 5 to 20 millionand what ever happened to him anyway? He suspended his biz w bud so are we to assume he got out clean??

That's a good question.
I doubt he would have gotten out clean. My guess is that the SEC would have gone after him and forced him to testify against Bud or risk prosecution.
