Yes, he was extremely hot. Unfortunately, co-starring in Who's That Girl was a bad move I guess he didn't remotely expect.

I felt bad for him starring in this film. He likely (understandably) thought this would be the springboard to more mainstream success.
But, even though up here it says he kept acting, he never really was 'popular' again.
