I thought the guy who played Raoul was a classic! In my opinion he was crap but it was funny! Anybody else agree?

He was quite good in WTG. Definetly better that in Miami Vice-episode "Everyone in a Show Business" where I saw him too. Also he appeared on the soundtrack album and got to go out to party with Madonna. I remember a paparazzi photo of them entering some club in Los Angeles together.

In English, I assume you are explaining that he was in Kid Creole & the Coconuts (in the 80s), and that Lou Bega updated their act 20 years later.

Looked like Lou Bega from Mambo No 5 but it's not.
He played in Car 54 where are you and did play that same act as Lou Bega as a performer that sang those corny songs.
