This is a very underrated gem from the 80's. great cast (especially Richard Lynch) a great plot and a ending that no one expects. its a great addition for any horror fan. i know this is a late reply and all but i finally saw the original ending on the dvd and loved it!! its a pity it wasnt used in the film, cause its definitely superior to what was used.
one thing i dont get though; in the t cut ending Berrisford gets pushed over the side by Cynthia and in the original he jumps off. why'd he killd himself in the original version? so he wouldnt go to jail.
