I had to watch this for 12 hours of rehabilitationseriouslyI was thinking really? This is suppose to get me off of drugs? The group leader guy was cool, but I was thinking "You gotta be kidding me!" the whole timewhen he said, "o.k. now you are going to watch a film called Clean and Sober", I thought it was another of those informative crap rehab videos, but it was a friggin Warner Brothers MOVIE! Better than watching how cocaine affects your heart and kidneys though, I guessnot that I was there for cokeI was there for weed and we watched nothing about thatnot a very effective rehab program, I blazed pretty much 2 hours after my last visitI am done with all that stuff now, but through my own will and wanting to get a REAL JOB, not because of some crappy 12 hour rehab/DUI clinic

A 12 hour rehab/DUI clinic isn't going to get anyone clean and sober, and neither is watching a movie. Getting clean and sober, for real, is about making lifestyle changes and working recovery on a daily basis. If your counselor was an actual drug counselor, I'm sure he didn't think ONE movie wasn't going to get you clean, but it could very well plant a seed. If the movie does nothing for an addict, I firmly believe they aren't ready to hear the message the movie gives.
And no wonder why you blazed two hours after your last visit: you were totally in a negative mind frame while watching the movie. If you had an open mind while watching or trying to look at what positive things you could have gotten from it, maybe you wouldn't have. Typical for an addict to blame other things on their drug use.
Congratulations on "being done" with that stuff though.
This is my signature.
