With the post of CI being better than DL
I came up with this one but these time choose your favorite between the three movies based on the novel
DL, CI or Valmont
My vote is for Dangerous Liasons
Becuase it's the darkest with the best performances
glenn Close is definitely the best Merteuil till now Jhon Malcovich was a great Valmont and Michelle Pfieffer made very interesting and found out a way to make the most boring character of this story interesting.

Haven't seen Cruel Intentions. That veing said, I prefer Dangerous Liaisons over Valmont. DL is much closer to the atmosphere of the original book, which is all about cruelty, deceit, and manipulation, while Valmont is quite bland in comparison.

There are at least six filmed versions of this movie that I know of. There are probably more. My favorite is the 2003 French television miniseries with Catherine Deneuve, Rupert Everett, Nastassja Kinski and Leelee Sobieski (the full-length version, not the abridged version). The Close/Malkovich/Pfeiffer/Thurman version is my second favorite.

Valmont. I originally didn't like Dangerous Liaisons but Yesterday I saw Cruel Intentions for the first time and since then my opinion of Dangerous Liaisons has skyrocketed.
"I have always valued my lifelessness."

This film, by a galaxy!
Valmont bored me to tears- cheaper production and settings.
"I watched it and got something below expectation, so I'm venting on a public forum!"
