I give him a C+.  Sometimes I could just tell he was phoning it in when he gaffered.</p>

He really was Clint's Best Boy and if you don't like it then too bad, punk!<br />
If Clint likes him then he lived up to every sense of the words of Best Boy!</p>

<p dir="auto">His talent for gaffery is much better than he showed in Die Hard.  Those other movies you listed do display his wizardry in the field that earned him 3 Gaffer of the Year awards.</p>

Did so much better with Ruthless People that came out two years before.<br />
For some reason started to slack with DH.<br />
Then picked it up again for Tuesdays with Morrie.</p>
