Much of this film was shot in my hometown in Santa Cruz. I was youngish, about 19. And at the time they were shooting at the Boardwalk I was at the beach that night behind them, drinking beer of course. One of my friends got the bright idea to climb up the hot dog vending building where we could hide behind the giant fake hot dog and watch them filming. So we did. Seemed like a good idea at the time. ^ ^
They were shooting a scene across from us and all was well until they moved the scene to the same building we were on top of. They were right underneath us as we hid behind the giant dog, but someone saw us. A guy on a bull horn told said " Get out from behind the giant Dog your busted!"
So we did. I left my ID at home and gave a fake name and got away clean. My friends however went to court and got community service and ended up getting to do said service working on the film set!! The film crew that busted us was really cool about it. So I missed out by evading court. They had a great time!
But it is a memory I will still never forget. Getting busted behind a giant Fake Hot Dog. My friend Brian was with us. He has since passed away but it is a memory with him I will always remember. He loved working on the set and it inspired him to get into acting for awhile. He landed a few short scenes in other movies that came through town.

That's a great story, thanks for sharing that. I had a friend pass away 12 years back who I had enjoyed a misspent youth with back in the mid '80s to early '90s. You do remember those times fondly, I understand where you're coming from.
Scientologists love Narnia, there's plenty of closet space.

If it's a closed set they could be charged with trespassing.
I don't know if you're aware of this but I've already changed things. I killed Ben Linus.

Yeah, sounds kind of fishy to me too, I don't see anything illegal here. This is America and you have the right to hide behind a giant hot dog if you want. But whatever.

What were your buddies charged with being on top of a building used as part of a film set? "Uh, let's see. That's a violation of California Penal Code number ."
