i first caught lair on channel 4 , on a late friday night around 1991 or 92?

I saw the Lair of the white worm back when I was a teenager, about fourteen years ago. Child's play was the first film to really scare me. I was eleven at the time I saw it in the theaters.

The first movie that scares you is the one that you remember. For me, it was not "Lair of the White Worm," which I did not see until I was over thirty, but it was the 1958 version of "The Fly" w/ Vincent Price. That one scared me so much, when I saw it in the theater, I hid behind the seats in the theater. Now, some fifty years later, I find it more funny than scary.

It's a pretty freaky film alright. I first saw it when I was young also - about 9, I think.
